Functional Yoga

Functional Yoga is a Vinyasa style yoga class which incorporates the key components of longevity in our physical body as we age. This class uses body weight, dumbbells, yoga blocks, tennis balls to help us achieve strength, mobility and flexibility as we age. 

Gym Equipment Setup

Over the past couple decades of practicing and teaching yoga, my classes have always morphed into what my students and the current science relays. Muscle health and pliability as we age is incredibly important for blood sugar regulation, bone density, prevention of falls and so much more. People are realizing they are capable of maintaining better health as they as and are not settling for the classic "I'm too old". It is never too late to change a habit, build muscle and improve your overall health and wellbeing.
